We have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. This means that your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. Data Processing Agreement
We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google and fully comply with the strict requirements of the Swiss and German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.Demographic Characteristics in Google Analytics
This website uses the “Demographic Characteristics” feature of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be created that contain statements about the age, gender, and interests of site visitors. These data originate from Google's interest-based advertising as well as visitor data from third-party providers. These data cannot be attributed to any specific person. You can disable this feature at any time via the ad settings in your Google account or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described in the section “Objection to Data Collection.”
Storage Duration
Data stored by Google at the user and event level that is linked to cookies, user IDs (e.g., user ID), or advertising IDs (e.g., DoubleClick cookies, Android advertising ID) will be anonymized or deleted after 14 months. For details, see the following link: Google Support - Data Retention.
Google Analytics Remarketing
This website uses the remarketing features of Google Analytics in conjunction with the cross-device capabilities of Google Ads and Google DoubleClick. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
This feature enables the advertising target groups created with Google Analytics Remarketing to be linked to the cross-device functions of Google Ads and Google DoubleClick. In this way, interest-based, personalized advertising messages that have been tailored to you based on your previous usage and browsing behavior on one device (e.g., mobile phone) can also be displayed on another of your devices (e.g., tablet or PC).
If you have given your consent, Google will link your web and app browsing history with your Google account for this purpose. In this way, the same personalized advertising messages can be displayed on every device on which you sign in with your Google account.
To support this feature, Google Analytics collects google-authenticated IDs of users, which are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data to define and create target groups for cross-device advertising.
You can permanently opt out of cross-device remarketing/targeting by deactivating personalized advertising in your Google account; follow this link: Google Ad Settings.
The aggregation of the collected data in your Google account is based solely on your consent, which you can give or revoke at Google (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSG). For data collection operations that are not merged in your Google account (e.g., because you do not have a Google account or have objected to the merging), the data collection is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR and Art. 31 (1) lit. f DSG. The legitimate interest arises from the fact that the website operator has an interest in the anonymized analysis of website visitors for advertising purposes.
Further information and Google's privacy policy can be found here: Google Ads Privacy Policy.Google Ads and Google Conversion Tracking
This website uses Google Ads, an online advertising program by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
As part of Google Ads, we use so-called conversion tracking. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is set. Cookies are small text files that the internet browser stores on the user’s computer. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification of users. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.
Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked across websites by Google Ads customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive information that personally identifies users.
If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by disabling the Google conversion tracking cookie via your internet browser under user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
The storage of conversion cookies and the use of this tracking tool are based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR and Art. 31 (1) lit. e DSG. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior to optimize both its web offering and its advertising. If a corresponding consent was requested (e.g., consent to store cookies), processing is carried out exclusively based on Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSG; the consent can be revoked at any time.
For more information about Google Ads and Google Conversion Tracking, see Google’s privacy policy: Google Privacy Policy.

Facebook Pixel
This website uses the Facebook visitor action pixel for conversion tracking. The provider of this service is Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. According to Facebook, the collected data is also transferred to the USA and other third countries.
This allows the behavior of site visitors to be tracked after they have clicked on a Facebook ad and been redirected to the provider's website. This enables the effectiveness of Facebook ads to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and to optimize future advertising campaigns.
The collected data is anonymous to us as the operators of this website; we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of users. However, Facebook stores and processes the data so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible, and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with its Facebook Data Use Policy. This allows Facebook to display ads on Facebook pages as well as outside of Facebook.
We, as the site operators, have no influence over this data use. The use of Facebook Pixel is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR and Art. 31 (1) lit. e DSG. The website operator has a legitimate interest in effective advertising, including the use of social media. If corresponding consent was requested (e.g., consent to store cookies), processing is carried out exclusively based on Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSG; the consent can be revoked at any time.
Further information about protecting your privacy can be found in Facebook's privacy policy: Facebook Privacy Policy.
You can also deactivate the “Custom Audiences” remarketing function in the ad settings section at Facebook Ad Preferences. To do this, you must be logged into Facebook.
If you do not have a Facebook account, you can opt out of usage-based advertising from Facebook on the website of the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance: Your Online Choices.Newsletter Data
If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an email address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the provided email address and that you agree to receive the newsletter. No further data is collected, or only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.
The processing of the data entered in the newsletter registration form is based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSG). You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the email address, and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data you provide for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you unsubscribe. Data that has been stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected.
After you unsubscribe from the newsletter distribution list, your email address may be stored in a blacklist by us or the newsletter service provider to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist will only be used for this purpose and will not be merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR and Art. 31 (1) lit. e DSG). The storage in the blacklist is indefinite.
You can object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.

Additional data processing operations may be triggered after starting a YouTube video, over which we have no control.
The use of YouTube is in the interest of an attractive presentation of our online offerings. This constitutes a legitimate interest under Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR and Art. 31 (1) lit. e DSG. If a corresponding consent was requested, processing is carried out exclusively based on Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSG; the consent can be revoked at any time.

Applicant Data
We offer you the opportunity to apply to us (e.g., via email, postal mail, or by using an online application form). Below, we inform you about the scope, purpose, and use of your personal data collected during the application process. We assure you that the collection, processing, and use of your data will be carried out in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG), as well as all other legal provisions, and that your data will be treated as strictly confidential.

Scope and Purpose of Data Collection
If you submit an application to us, we will process your associated personal data (e.g., contact and communication data, application documents, notes during interviews, etc.) to the extent necessary for making a decision on establishing an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is § 26 BDSG-neu under German law (initiation of an employment relationship), Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (general contract initiation), and—if you have provided consent—Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
Your personal data will only be shared within our company with individuals who are involved in processing your application.
If your application is successful, the data you submitted will be stored in our data processing systems for the purpose of implementing the employment relationship on the basis of § 26 BDSG-neu, Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR, and Art. 31 (2) lit. a DSG.

The data will then be deleted, and physical application documents will be destroyed. Retention serves in particular as evidence in the event of a legal dispute.
If it becomes apparent that the data will be required beyond the 6-month period (e.g., due to an impending or ongoing legal dispute), deletion will only occur once the purpose for extended retention no longer applies.
Longer retention may also occur if you have given your explicit consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSG) or if statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

Inclusion in the Applicant Pool
If we are unable to make you a job offer, we may offer to include you in our applicant pool. If you agree to be included, all documents and details from your application will be transferred to the applicant pool so that we can contact you in the event of suitable job openings.
Inclusion in the applicant pool is based solely on your explicit consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSG). Providing consent is voluntary and is not related to the ongoing application process.
The data subject can revoke their consent at any time. In this case, the data will be irrevocably deleted from the applicant pool unless there are legal retention obligations.
Data from the applicant pool will be irrevocably deleted no later than two years after consent has been given.
